Join our dynamic team as an

Automation Technician

and become a vital contributor to our manufacturing and industrial maintenance operations. In this energized role, you will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, maintaining, and optimizing automated systems and machinery. Your expertise will ensure seamless production processes, enhance system performance, and support continuous improvement initiatives. With a focus on safety, precision, and innovation, you'll play a key role in delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities



Install, calibrate, and troubleshoot automation equipment including sensors, vision inspection systems, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and distributed control systems (DCS). Maintain and repair complex machinery such as CNC machines, hydraulic systems, and high/low voltage electrical components. Read and interpret schematics, technical drawings, AutoCAD layouts, and wiring diagrams to diagnose issues accurately. Conduct calibration of sensors, measurement instruments like ohmmeters, and precision measuring tools to ensure optimal system performance. Perform preventive maintenance on electrical and mechanical systems to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan. Support field service activities by diagnosing problems onsite and implementing effective solutions promptly. Collaborate with engineering teams on modifications or upgrades using E & I (Electrical & Instrumentation) knowledge. Provide excellent service by supporting internal teams during installations or repairs.

Qualifications & Skills



Proven experience working as an industrial electrician or automation technician within manufacturing or industrial environments. Hands-on knowledge of hydraulics, mechanical systems, sensors, calibration techniques, and schematics interpretation. Experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), especially in troubleshooting machineries. Familiarity with vision inspection systems and CNC machinery operation or maintenance. Strong electrical experience including working with high voltage (HV) and low voltage (LV) systems safely. Skilled in reading technical drawings using AutoCAD or similar software for system layout understanding. Knowledge of Calypso automation software or similar control platforms is a plus.
