Your Role at Caliber:



As an

Automation Specialist / Engineer

, you will:
?

Design & Develop:

Engineer

Siemens DCS PCS7 solutions

, including configuration, programming, and integration of control systems.
?

Commission & Troubleshoot:

Perform system commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting of Siemens automation platforms in industrial settings.
?

Optimize & Innovate:

Enhance system performance through programming, optimization, and advanced diagnostics.
?

Collaborate with Clients & Teams:

Work closely with clients and cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution and automation upgrades.
?

Ensure Compliance & Safety:

Adhere to

industry regulations, best practices, and cybersecurity protocols

for industrial automation systems.

What You Bring:



?

Experience with Siemens DCS PCS7 hardware and software

- including configuration, system architecture, and programming.
? Strong background in

PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems

(Siemens TIA Portal, WinCC, or other related platforms).
? Ability to

analyze and troubleshoot

automation control issues in industrial environments.
? Knowledge of

process automation, industrial networking, and communication protocols (PROFIBUS, PROFINET, MODBUS, OPC, etc.)

.
? Strong technical problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
? Willingness to travel for system installation, commissioning, and support as required.

10 hour shift 12 hour shift Monday to Friday Weekends as needed
Ability to commute/relocate:

Edmonton, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
