Automation Sales Specialist

Job Description

K&G Machinery Works designs and manufactures a variety of custom and standard automation equipment. We design and build custom equipment primarily for plastic bottle manufacturing, as well as other industries.

The Automation Sales Specialist will be responsible for identifying and nurturing new business opportunities, cultivating customer relationships, and supporting the growth of K&G's overall automation business. The ideal candidate will possess a proactive, customer-focused approach, an aptitude for technical sales, and a strong desire to drive results within the automation and manufacturing landscape.

Required tasks of this role



Lead Generation: Identifying potential customers and opportunities within the blow molding and other industries, often through research, networking, or cold calling.

Client Relationship Management: Building and maintaining relationships with existing and potential clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.

Sales Support: Assisting senior leaders with presentations, demonstrations, and deal closures.

Market Research and Analysis: Staying informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies in the automation sector.

Data Analysis: Analyzing sales data to identify trends, optimize sales strategies, and support decision-making.

CRM Management: Utilizing and maintaining our CRM to track leads, sales activities, and customer interactions.

Reporting: Preparing sales reports and providing feedback to the sales team and management.

Required skills and qualifications



You have:



3+ years of sales experience in industrial automation Familiarity with utilizing a CRM (Salesforce, Zoho, etc.) Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a related field such as engineering as business Experience in pre-qualification process and sales management Preferred skills and qualifications

Compensation



$75-85k Base Plus Variable

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
