As a CEP in Automation, you'll be joining the Process Control and Operational Technologies department at our Quebec City office. This multidisciplinary team will support your career growth, whether you choose to specialize in a niche area or develop a broader, generalist profile. You'll work with a motivated, dynamic group, ready to coach you on projects and guide you throughout your professional journey.

Program automated systems (PLC, SCADA, DCS, operator interfaces) Develop and maintain solid client relationships Participate in executing detailed engineering projects Draft technical documents, calculation notes and study reports Participate in project management (execution, costs, schedules) Attend internal or client coordination meetings Perform site surveys Assist with equipment commissioning, both onsite and remotely

Summary of certifications and job requirements





Bachelor's degree in electrical or automated production engineering or any other equivalent training Member of a Canadian professional engineering association Available for short- and long-term work assignments at client locations or sites Valid driver's licence Advanced English skills to facilitate collaboration with other BBA offices and/or clients in English-speaking Canadian provinces and internationally; you may need to use English occasionally or daily, depending on current projects Advanced French skills to facilitate collaboration with other BBA offices and/or clients in Quebec Asset: interest or relevant experience in automation and instrumentation; participation in detailed engineering of a project in the mining or energy sectors Asset: experience in the mining sector Asset: ASP Construction card
