SUMMARY: StackTeck has an Automation business located in Vaughan, Ontario. We design and make industrial robotic systems, specializing in In Mold Labelling and Takeoff systems for the plastic packaging market. These systems can also include 6-axis robots, vision and case packing modules. Our goal is to give the successful applicant a wide range of exposure and experience in various areas of our business.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Detailing engineering drawings using Solidworks
• Mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic assembly
• Supply chain/Inventory management
• 3D Printing, design and manufacturing
• System testing

Note: The ideal term for this position is 8 months starting Winter 2023

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

EXPERIENCE AND BEHAVIOURAL REQUIREMENTS

• Graduate or presently enrolled in a post-secondary Mechatronics, Electromechnical Engineering Technology, or related program
• Some hands-on experience in Assembly & Testing of Robotics (preferred)
• Proven mechanical aptitude and skill using hand tools (even in mechanical hobbies and/or personal interests)
• Strong communication and computer skills.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and knowledge of wiring and cable routing is beneficial
• Some experience using Solidworks, an asset
• Great attitude, willing to learn and make a contribution is key!
