Austech Custom Fencing, a reputable fencing company based in Rocky View County, is looking for an eager and reliable individual to roll up their sleeves and contribute to a lively work environment.

Gate Installation/Maintenance (year-round):

Responsibilities:

Assemble and install automated gate operators and related equipment. Service and repair of automated gate operators and related equipment. Proficient in operating hand and power tools Support skilled trades people and take on additional tasks delegated by the manager.

Installation (seasonal):

Load and organize installation equipment into company vehicles efficiently and safely for transportation to and from job sites. Execute clean-up duties after installations, at job sites and the company site, to maintain a tidy work environment. Conduct routine inspection and maintenance of all installation equipment and vehicles. Collaborate with the installation team to facilitate seamless operations.

Qualifications:

Criminal Background Check (completed within the last 6 months). A clean driver's abstract and a professional driving approach Willingness and ability to learn new skills (on-the-job training provided) Physically fit and capable of lifting up to 80 lbs. Able to work independently and as part of a team Basic understanding of mechanical systems and tools Ability to work outdoors year-round

Preferred Qualifications:

Candidates with the following experience will be given preference:

Electrical wiring experience (asset) Truck and trailer experience (asset)

What we Offer:

Hands-on training to develop valuable trades skills, including welding and machining. Reimbursement for safety gear such as steel-toe boots, coveralls, and gloves. Opportunities for overtime.

Schedule:

Installation Season:

Range between 6:30 a.m. - 6:30 p.m., Monday - Friday.

Off-Season:

8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., Monday - Friday. Normal working hours are 8 hours a day with the opportunity of overtime.

Pay: From $25.00 per hour
