We are seeking a detail-oriented and physically capable

Automated Cutting & Fabric Distribution Technician

to operate our state-of-the-art automated fabric cutting system. This role plays a critical part in ensuring production efficiency and quality by managing the cutting process and organizing fabric pieces for timely delivery to the sewing department.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate and monitor automated fabric cutting equipment to ensure precision and efficiency. Load fabric rolls into the system, initiate cutting programs, and oversee cutting operations. Use computer software to manage cutting patterns, troubleshoot issues, and ensure accurate output. Inspect cut fabric pieces for quality and accuracy against specifications. Sort, label, and prepare fabric components for organized disbursement to the sewing department. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Collaborate with team members in production and quality control to ensure smooth workflow.

Qualifications:

Strong computer proficiency, especially in operating industrial or automated systems. Ability to understand and follow detailed work instructions and production layouts. Physically fit and able to lift, move, and handle fabric rolls (+50 lbs) and cut pieces as needed . High attention to detail and commitment to quality control. Prior experience in textile manufacturing, fabric handling, or a similar environment is preferred.

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
