Position: CAD Designer (contract, part-time) The Role at a Glance: Streetcar Developments and Archive Hospitality are currently seeking a qualified AutoCAD Designer who is ambitious and forward thinking. This position plays a key role where you will work on some exciting mixed-use projects related to our new properties. Your role will involve producing detailed CAD drawings and design documentation that are essential for the successful development of our properties. Your Day To Day Duties:

• Collaborate closely with our development team, architects and engineers to create and update CAD drawings for various real estate development projects
• Develop and maintain detailed site plans, floor plans and architectural drawings
• Ensure that designs comply with the local building codes, zoning regulations and other applicable standards
• Participate in design reviews and contribute to design improvements
• Ensure projects adhere to frameworks and all documentation is maintained appropriately for each project
• Maintain organized CAD files and documentation, ensuring they are readily accessible
• You will problem-solving and adapt to changing project requirements
• Comply with all company standards, policies and procedures at all times
• Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned by management

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree or diploma in Interior Design, Industrial Design, Architecture or equivalent

• Proficiency in using AutoCAD software (2 yrs or more preferred)
• Attention to detail and good understanding of construction detailing in general
• 2+ years of experience in hospitality or residential condo design/development (preferred)
• Strong creative and communication skills

• Problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing project requirements.

• The ability to self-motivate and work independently when required
• Experience and comfortable with coordinating with consultants, suppliers and contractors
