Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive auto body repairs, including dent removal, panel replacement, and collision damage restoration with precision and care Conduct auto painting and finishing to ensure flawless color matching and surface smoothness Utilize hand tools, power tools, and specialized auto body equipment safely and effectively to complete repairs efficiently Replace or repair auto glass with attention to detail for safety and aesthetic quality Assist with vehicle maintenance tasks such as fluid checks, light mechanical repairs, and detailing to uphold vehicle integrity Lift heavy components safely during repair procedures, adhering to safety protocols at all times Support auto restoration projects by refurbishing classic or damaged vehicles to their original condition Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all tools and materials are properly stored after use Collaborate with team members to diagnose issues accurately and develop effective repair strategies Document repair processes thoroughly for quality assurance and customer transparency

Skills

Proven dealership experience or hands-on work in auto body repair environments is highly desirable Strong mechanical knowledge combined with practical experience in automotive repair techniques Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and specialized auto body equipment is essential for efficient workflow Knowledge of vehicle maintenance procedures, auto painting techniques, and auto glass replacement processes Experience with auto restoration projects that require meticulous attention to detail Ability to lift heavy parts safely while maintaining proper ergonomics and safety standards Familiarity with automotive repair diagnostics and basic mechanic experience enhances performance in this role Excellent teamwork skills coupled with clear communication abilities for effective collaboration on complex repairs

Pay: $20.11-$39.25 per hour
