Position Title: Autobody Technician/ Apprentice


Status: Full-Time Permanent

Location: 4 Macintosh Ave, Port Hawkesbury, NS



Our CarrXpert Port Hawkesbury Collision Centre is growing, and with our recent facility expansion, we're looking for technicians to join our dedicated team! If you're an experienced Auto Body Technician or someone with a passion for auto body repairs looking to work in a state-of-the-art facility with top-notch tools, equipment, and a focus on quality repairs, we may be the next step in your career.

The Opportunity

We are accepting applications from both Auto Body Journeyman technicians, Autobody Apprentices, or individuals with a general knowledge of Auto Body repair willing to undertake in shop training towards their Auto Body Journeyman license. The responsibilities of an Automotive Technician/Apprentice include but are not limited to:

• Perform high-quality repairs, including dent removal, panel replacement, refinishing, and painting.
• Assess damage and create repair plans to ensure customer satisfaction and safety.
• Use industry-standard equipment and follow all safety protocols.
• Collaborate with other technicians estimators, and management to meet customer needs.
• maintain an organized, clean workspace in line with our high standards for facility upkeep.

About You

• You are either an Auto Body Journeyman Technician, an Autobody Apprentice, or you have general knowledge of Auto Body repair and are willing to undertake in-shop training and work towards your Auto Body Journeyman license .
• You work well in a team environment and can also deliver results independently
• You are dedicated to maintaining high-quality work standards
• You posses a valid Driver's License
• You have strong problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail.
