Autobody Apprentice
to join our dynamic team. Whether you're in your 1st, 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year of apprenticeship, this is a great opportunity to grow your skills in a supportive and professional environment. Under the direction of the General Manager and Journeyman Autobody Technicians, will primarily be responsible to assess, repair, replace, install, interior and exterior vehicle components.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Damage assessment after collision, theft, vandalism or other type of loss
Disassemble and reassemble damaged vehicle components
Inspect and test completed work to ensure repairs have been done to specifications
Clearly document work performed including maintaining a clean and organized work area.
Proactively acquire knowledge of current trade products, tools and techniques
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Support Journeypersons with various autobody shop tasks which may include detailing, cleaning shop, assisting as required, etc
REQUIREMENTS:
Registered as a 1st to 4th year Autobody Apprentice.
Valid Manitoba driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
Physically capable of meeting job demands, including heavy lifting, prolonged standing, and manual work.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
Demonstrates a high level of integrity, reliability, and a strong work ethic.
Basic computer skills and the ability to learn shop management systems.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.65-$35.96 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
