Job Description
We are a busy shop with lots of growth opportunity. We are looking for someone interested about collision repair, hungry for knowledge, and ready to grow their skills. We have a great team of employees and are looking at adding to the mix to keep up with demand. The shop operates on a 4 day work week. Monday to Thursday 7:00 am to 6:00 pm. While experience is an asset, we are ready and willing to invest time and energy in training someone new to the industry.
Overview
We are seeking an Auto Body Prepper or Apprentice to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in automotive repair and a passion for delivering high-quality work. This role requires mechanical knowledge, proficiency with hand and power tools, and great attention to detail.
Responsibilities
Prepping panels and vehicles for refinishing Repair and replace damaged body panels, and other components of vehicles. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete repairs. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects. Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols. Communicate with management regarding repair status and any additional issues found during inspections.
Qualifications
Previous experience as an Auto Body apprentice or prepper is preferred, but not required. Strong automotive knowledge Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently. A commitment to quality workmanship and high attention to detail. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Pay: $16.50-$22.00 per hour
