Overview

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, with a focus on delivering exceptional service to our customers. This role requires mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience with various tools and equipment used in the automotive industry. The Automotive Mechanic will be responsible for diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and ensuring vehicles are operating at peak performance.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems. Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete repairs and installations. Read and interpret schematics to troubleshoot vehicle issues accurately. Assemble and disassemble vehicle components as needed for repairs or replacements. Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols. Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their vehicle's needs and repair options. Assist in heavy lifting when necessary to move parts or equipment.

Experience

Previous mechanic experience is required, preferably in a dealership setting. Proficiency in automotive repair techniques and maintenance practices. Familiarity with welding techniques is a plus. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to work with various hand tools and power tools. Ability to lift heavy objects safely as part of the repair process. Excellent customer service skills to ensure a positive experience for clients.
