As an Auto Glass Technician, you will be responsible for installing, replacing, and repairing auto glass with precision and care, ensuring customer satisfaction and vehicle integrity. Responsibilities
Remove damaged or broken auto glass safely using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment.
Install new auto glass with attention to detail, ensuring proper fitment and sealing to prevent leaks or wind noise.
Conduct vehicle inspections to assess damage, identify additional repair needs such as ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) calibration, and recommend solutions.
Perform window tinting services to enhance vehicle appearance and privacy when required.
Utilize auto estimating software to document repairs accurately and communicate with insurance providers if applicable.
Assist with vehicle maintenance tasks including basic mechanical repairs, assembly, and detailing to support overall vehicle presentation.
Handle heavy lifting safely when moving large or heavy glass panels or vehicle parts, following safety protocols at all times.
Qualifications
Proven dealership experience or background in automotive repair is highly preferred.
Strong mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on experience using hand tools and power tools.
Familiarity with auto glass installation techniques and auto body repair processes.
Experience working with ADAS calibration systems is a plus.
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Basic understanding of auto estimating software and vehicle maintenance procedures.
