If you have experience in construction, welding, scrap yards, plumbing, water proofing, flat roofing environments this may be a position for you

Shift:

Day Shift (Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:30pm)

Here's what we do at our Welland Facility: Non-Ferrous Scrap Metal Recycling

RAM's highly trained and experienced staff, utilize the latest in specialized equipment to collect, sort and process all varieties of Ferrous / Non-Ferrous metals. Our streamlined recycling techniques maximize the recovery of iron to increase value to various mills and foundries in Canada and abroad.

If you are able to work in all sorts of weather conditions, comfortable in high traffic, self-starter, not afraid of working with machinery, heavy equipment cutting metal and have the willingness to be trained this position may be for you!

Now that you know about us, we want to know more about you! We are looking for someone who can:

Perform a pre-inspection of equipment prior to use, and record results Remove tires Remove rims from tires using de-rimmer Place tires and rims in appropriate location Remove fluids using car processing unit. Fluids will include but not be limited to: Brake Fluid Coolant Fluid Fuel, and Used Oil Remove batteries and place in appropriate location Remove mercury switches if applicable, and place in appropriate container Work in various sections of the yard sorting and grading material. This could include but not be limited to the following: Torch-cut materials Pick and sort non-conformances and/or transfer material to the appropriate areas Operate hand-tools and power tools Housekeeping of the yard (sweep, paint, changing filter cloths, etc.) Adapt and adjust to various assignments, Work in various sections of the yard, including ferrous and non-ferrous, may include interaction with customers Perform other duties as assigned

We think it would be awesome if you have:

Minimum of one (1) year of Auto Dismantling experience Experience working in an outdoor environment ideal
