Compensation & Schedule

Pay Rate:

$18.00 - $20.00 per hour, based on experience.

Incentives:

Opportunity to make significant gratuities based on the service provided to the client. Other bonus incentives are also available.

Schedule:

Full-time (Potential for increased hours based on business demand).

Primarily Monday - Friday:

9:00 AM - 5:00 PM.

Availability for possible weekend shifts is also required

Location:

In-person at

ACE Car Spa @ Hyatt Vancouver Downtown Alberni

and occasionally at other partner and customer locations.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

The Detailing Technician is responsible for delivering complete, high-quality auto detailing services and maintaining the highest standards of operational efficiency and customer engagement.

Provide complete detailing services, including washing, vacuuming, and full interior and exterior detailing. Perform advanced services such as paint decontamination. Maintain the highest standard of quality control in all work performed, adhering to ACE Car Spa standards.

Handle Financial Transactions:

Close transactions, including cash handling and deposits, sending invoices, and following up on due invoices.

Communicate effectively

with hotel guests and clients regarding service updates and vehicle completion notifications. Efficiently manage time, equipment, and resources.

Required Skills & Experience

Detailing Expertise

: Minimum of 1 year of professional auto detailing experience is highly preferred ; however, we are willing to train the right candidate with no prior experience, provided they demonstrate a strong work ethic and high level of maturity. Please note that the starting pay rate will reflect the candidate's current skill level and experience.

Punctuality:

Punctuality is a strict requirement.

Candidates must be reliable and arrive on time for all scheduled shifts to maintain hotel service standards.

Professional Development:

Must have a

willingness and desire to learn

new detailing skills and techniques.

Vehicle Knowledge:

Strong knowledge of vehicle care products and techniques.

Maturity & Responsibility:

A high level of maturity is required for operating and caring for very high-value vehicles on the hotel premises.

Licensing:

A valid

Class 5 (Full) licence

with a clean abstract is

required

Vehicle Operation:

Proven ability to operate a wide variety of vehicles, including the ability to drive

standard (manual transmission)

.

Physical Work:

Able to perform physical labour including bending, lifting, and handling tools.

Customer Service:

Proven passion for delivering outstanding customer service with strong conflict-resolution skills.
