Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Auto Body Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair, with a focus on bodywork and collision repair. This role requires mechanical knowledge, proficiency with hand and power tools, and the ability to perform heavy lifting. The Auto Body Technician will work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that vehicles are restored to their original condition while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Responsibilities

Assess damaged vehicles and determine necessary repairs Use hand tools and power tools to perform bodywork, including welding, sanding, and painting Remove and replace damaged parts such as bumpers, fenders, and doors Repair or replace damaged body panels using appropriate techniques Ensure that all repairs meet industry standards and company quality guidelines Maintain a clean and organized workspace to promote safety and efficiency Collaborate with other technicians and staff to ensure timely completion of repairs Stay updated on the latest automotive repair techniques and technologies

Experience

Proven experience as an Auto Body Technician or similar role in an automotive dealership or repair shop Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using various hand tools and power tools Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) as required for the job Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
