Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Auto Body Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and be proficient in using hand and power tools. This role involves repairing and restoring vehicles to their pre-accident condition, ensuring high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.

Duties

Assess damaged vehicles to determine the extent of repairs needed. Perform bodywork, including frame straightening, panel replacement, and refinishing. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete repairs. Collaborate with other technicians and mechanics to ensure comprehensive vehicle restoration. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols. Document all repairs performed and parts used for each vehicle. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in automotive repair techniques.

Skills

Proficient in using hand tools and power tools specific to auto body repair. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various automotive issues. Experience in dealership settings is a plus but not required. Ability to perform heavy lifting as needed during the repair process. Solid understanding of automotive repair processes and techniques. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and customers.
