Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Auto Body Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for automotive repair and restoration, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. As an Auto Body Technician, you will be responsible for repairing and restoring vehicles to their pre-accident condition, ensuring high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Assess vehicle damage and determine necessary repairs Perform body repairs including sanding, filling and painting smaller panels Replace or repair damaged panels, bumpers, and other components including interior panels Knowledge of dent pulling, frame pulling, welding and colour matching is an asset. Not required in this roll. Change and/or program airbags and sensors Utilize various tools and equipment to complete repairs efficiently Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding repair progress Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while working on vehicles

Requirements

Proven experience as an Auto Body Technician or similar role Proficiency in using body shop tools and equipment Knowledge of automotive repair techniques and materials Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship Ability to read and interpret technical documents such as repair manuals Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure A valid driver's license is preferred

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 50 per week
