Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Auto Body Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and mechanical knowledge, with experience in a dealership or similar environment. As an Auto Body Technician, you will be responsible for repairing and restoring vehicles to their original condition while ensuring high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.

Duties

Perform body repairs on vehicles, including dent removal, frame straightening, and panel replacement. Use hand tools and power tools effectively to complete repairs and modifications. Assess damage to vehicles and provide accurate estimates for repair work. Collaborate with other technicians and staff to ensure timely completion of repairs. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Communicate with customers regarding repair processes and timelines as needed. Conduct quality checks on completed work to ensure it meets industry standards.

Requirements

Proven experience in automotive repair, preferably as an Auto Body Technician or similar role. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various vehicle issues. Familiarity with dealership environments is a plus. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during the repair process. Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools specific to auto body repair. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship. Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Apprenticeship

Pay: $25.00-$45.00 per hour
