Auto Body Technician

Job Description

Responsibilities:
- Perform automotive body repairs and refinishing on vehicles
- Repair and replace damaged body parts, including fenders, doors, and bumpers
- Remove dents, scratches, and other imperfections from vehicle surfaces
- Prepare surfaces for painting by sanding, masking, and priming
- Mix paint colors to match vehicle specifications
- Apply paint coats and finishes to vehicles
- Use power tools and hand tools to complete repairs
- Inspect repaired vehicles for quality and accuracy

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in automotive repair or collision repair preferred
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of vehicle systems
- Proficient in using power tools and hand tools for repairs
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality workmanship
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Experience working in a dealership or automotive repair shop is a plus

Pay: $20.14-$37.97 per hour
