Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Auto Body Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for repairing and restoring vehicles to their original condition following accidents or damage. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and experience with both hand and power tools, ensuring high-quality workmanship in every repair.

Responsibilities

Inspect damaged vehicles to determine the extent of repairs needed. Use hand tools and power tools to repair or replace damaged parts. Perform bodywork, including welding, sanding, and painting as necessary. Align vehicle frames and body panels to manufacturer specifications. Collaborate with other technicians and staff to ensure timely completion of repairs. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols. Document all repairs performed and parts used for each vehicle.

Qualifications

Proven experience as an Auto Body Technician or similar role in automotive repair. Strong mechanical knowledge with proficiency in using hand tools and power tools. Experience working in a dealership setting is a plus. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during repairs. Attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality results. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00-$50.00 per hour

Schedule:

8 hour shift Day shift Monday to Friday Weekends as needed
