Overview

We are seeking a skilled Auto Body Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and a passion for automotive repair. As an Auto Body Technician, you will be responsible for restoring vehicles to their original condition following accidents or damage. This role requires attention to detail, proficiency with various tools, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

Assess vehicle damage and determine necessary repairs. Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively to perform bodywork. Replace or repair damaged panels, frames, and components. Conduct mechanical repairs as needed to ensure vehicle functionality. Prepare surfaces for painting and apply paint according to specifications. Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols. Collaborate with team members to meet deadlines and ensure customer satisfaction.

Experience

Proven experience as an Auto Body Technician or similar role is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive repair. Familiarity with dealership standards and practices is a plus. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required in the repair process. Proficient in the use of both power tools and hand tools essential for auto body work. A commitment to ongoing learning and skill development within the automotive field.
