Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Auto Body Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in automotive repair and bodywork, with a strong focus on restoring vehicles to their original condition. This role involves repairing, replacing, and refinishing vehicle bodies using a variety of tools and techniques. The Auto Body Technician will ensure high-quality workmanship while adhering to safety standards and company procedures.

Responsibilities

Assess vehicle damage and determine the appropriate repair approach Use hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting equipment to remove dents, replace panels, and perform body repairs Perform sanding, filling, priming, and painting to restore vehicles' appearance Conduct mechanical repairs as needed, utilizing automotive repair knowledge Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency Collaborate with team members to complete repairs within specified timeframes Follow all safety protocols and industry standards during repair processes

Qualifications

Previous dealership experience or automotive repair background preferred Mechanical knowledge with familiarity in automotive systems and repairs Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and body shop equipment Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently Experience working with automotive paint and refinishing techniques is a plus Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team Prior mechanic experience is advantageous but not required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 - 40 per week
