We are seeking a skilled Auto Body Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in auto body repair and restoration, with a focus on delivering high-quality workmanship and excellent customer service. This role requires proficiency in various repair techniques, including welding, painting, and detailing, as well as the ability to work with both hand and power tools. Duties
Perform auto body repairs including frame straightening, dent removal, and panel replacement.
Conduct vehicle maintenance and restoration tasks as needed.
Utilize welding techniques to repair damaged components.
Apply paint using airless paint spraying methods and ensure a smooth finish through buffing.
Detail vehicles to meet quality standards before delivery to customers.
Inspect vehicles for damage and provide accurate auto estimating for repairs.
Use hand tools and power tools effectively to complete repairs efficiently.
Replace auto glass when necessary, ensuring proper installation and sealing.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding repair processes and timelines.
Requirements
Previous experience in an auto body technician role is preferred; dealership experience is a plus.
Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in vehicle maintenance and repair.
Proficiency in auto body repair techniques, including detailing and painting.
Familiarity with airless paint spraying equipment and buffing techniques.
Ability to lift heavy objects as required during the repair process.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
Experience in auto estimating is advantageous but not mandatory.
