Centennial Carstar Dartmouth is looking for an organized, motivated individual to join our team as Auto Body Prepper!

NOW HIRING: Auto Body Prepper

LOCATION: Centennial Carstar Dartmouth, NS

HOURS: Full time, Permanent. 40 hours per week.

WAGES: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour flat rate + benefits (negotiable based on experience)

You\xe2\x80\x99re a motivated, detail-oriented, punctual, and customer service focused individual who works well in a team environment. You have previous experience as an automotive prepper, or experience in a similar field, and your mission is to always provide ultimate customer satisfaction.

APPLICABLE SKILLS/ QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be reliable and show initiative
• Applicant must be capable of multitasking, prioritizing, working independently and under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Valid driver\xe2\x80\x99s license
• You are physically capable of doing the job which includes frequently bending, crouching, reaching. You are also able to handle tools and lift approximately 51lbs.
• Previous experience is necessary. Additional training will be provided.

MAIN JOB TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepare the vehicle for paint after the Body Technicians finish the repairs to a vehicle.
• Sanding
• Application of primer base coat color and clear coat
• Masking of vehicles
• Moving vehicles in and out of shop
• Performs other tasks, based on management requirements and instructions
