Job Description

We are seeking a skilled full-time Body Shop Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for automotive collision repair and have exceptional customer service skills. Responsibilities for this position include, but not limited to:

-Assess and accurately estimate the cost of repairs for vehicles in need of body and paint work while following strict policies and procedures of various insurance companies.

-Ordering and following up on parts

-Schedule sublets

-Collaborate with inhouse technicians and mechanic shops to ensure accurate repair assessments and excellent repair quality.

-Balancing files

-Keep customers up to date throughout their repair process.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Exceptional customer service skills

Strong communication skills

Minimum 2 years experience writing estimates in collision repair

Ability to problem solve

Self-driven, able to work independently and in a team environment

Very detail oriented

Familiarity of ICBC's policies and procedures preferred

ICAR training preferred

This position is a very important part of our team as it affects both staff and customers, so good attendants is a must for this position. Salary is negotiable based on experience and any industry-based certifications.
