RLG Systems Canada Inc. (RLG) is seeking an

Audit Transportation Specialist

to fill our compliance solutions needs, focusing on supporting the implementation and operation of Ontario's future Blue Box program. The position is a permanent, full-time role reporting to our Brampton location with the following hours:


6:30 am - 4:30 pm

This position reports to the Manager, CCS Audit and Logistics Operations, and will work closely with the Supervisor and Team Lead to ensure the safe, efficient, and effective delivery of auditing supplies, including the receipt and collection of audit samples composed of blue box materials.




As Audit Transportation Specialist, you will carry out the following duties in order to assist with the planning, coordination, execution, and continuous improvement of the Blue Box Program in Ontario.


Key tasks include:




Work alongside the Supervisor / Team Lead collaborating on the audit sample schedule Operate a 26ft commercial box truck collecting audit samples in super sacs across Ontario Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections, and other documentation requested by Supervisor daily Communicate vehicle mechanical problems to the Supervisor immediately Maintain route quality standards as predetermined by management Follow all safety standards, vehicle checks, and precautions in the performance of all duties Comply with all company rules on safety and vehicle operation including any required Recycling Facility (RF) specific rules or regulations. Communicate any potential hazards in delivering/picking up sacs to the Supervisor before performing task Maintain clean vehicle by cleaning cab interior and exterior Report all accidents or incidents to the Supervisor immediately Exhibit a professional demeanor, manner, and appearance at all times Ensure that all required personal protective equipment be worn (i.e., gloves, reflective vest, safety glasses, work boots, etc.) May be required to work overtime Perform other duties and responsibilities as required or requested by management

Your Knowledge and Experience:




Highly organized with attention to detail Excellent communications skills both written and verbal Have basic understanding of routing and logistics Must have experience driving a 26ft commercial box truck Must have an understanding of Hours of Service Must be familiar with pre and post trip inspections

Requirements:




Possess a valid G - Class License with a clean abstract Minimum one (1) year of Commercial driving experience Must be able to demonstrate the ability to safely drive the truck and operate the equipment (ie. pallet jack)
