Audit Associate (Junior)

We are seeking an

Auditor

to join our Toronto practice. We specialize in audit of listed companies and IPO engagements globally. This role is ideal for candidates beginning their public accounting career or with up to two years of audit experience. The Auditor will support engagement teams, perform audit procedures, and contribute to high-quality client service. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities



Perform audit-related tasks and assistance work under the supervision of senior staff and managers. Complete assigned tasks in accordance with audit methodology, reporting requirements, and professional standards. Understand, document, and evaluate business processes and internal controls. Prepare workpapers, schedules, and supporting documentation for audit files. Collaborate with a diverse group of audit professionals across multiple offices. Provide timely and high-quality client service, helping to build strong client relationships. Work effectively in a

virtual and in-person

, fast-paced team environment. Assist with fieldwork and various phases of the audit cycle as assigned. Travel for client engagements, including international travel (U.S., Asia, Southeast Asia, Europe).

Qualifications



1-2 years

of public accounting or equivalent audit experience.
Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field

preferred

, or an

advanced diploma with relevant accounting and auditing coursework

will be considered. CPA designation

is welcome but not required.



Ability to travel as required, including internationally.

Experience working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Bilingual abilities are an asset (e.g., Mandarin, Cantonese, Spanish, Other).

Skills & Competencies



Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills. Technical aptitude in accounting, auditing, and Microsoft Excel. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Ability to work efficiently and effectively within a complex team environment. Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $43,000.00-$63,000.00 per year
