Stewardship: We responsibly manage the resources entrusted to us.About the PositionThe Audio-Visual Technical Specialist - is a member of the THQ (Territorial Headquarters) Communications Secretariat (Marketing/Communications Team) and is responsible for the audio and visual support and execution of live and streamed events as well as recorded video and audio projects for The Salvation Army. This individual reports to the Senior Media Producer.With guidance from the Senior Media Producer, and/or the Director of Internal Communications (or Territorial Director of Marketing and Communications (NDMC) for externally facing projects), the Audio Visual Technical Specialist is tasked with the operating, planning, engineering, coordinating, and maintenance of equipment and technologies pertaining to audio visual support for meetings by providing PowerPoint operation, livestreaming software for You Tube, Facebook and similar, presentation software such as ProPresenter, EasyWorship, TelePrompt Pro, and similar.The individual must be familiar with audio mixing and audio boards such as Allen and Heath, as well as camera switchers, and lighting consoles. A secondary portfolio is executing post-production of video resources required by the organization. Postproduction duties include but are not limited to video editing and post audio production.Livestreamed events, pre-recorded items and live events are used to communicate with both internal and external stakeholders, build public awareness of Salvation Army programs and initiatives, and increase fundraising results as well as inform staff and The Salvation Army Community at large.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Media Production:
