Position: Audio Visual (AV) Designer - Entry Level Location: Toronto, ON The Role As an AV Designer, you love technology and want to work on designing Audio Video solutions for our clients. This involves Discovery, AutoCAD drafting, assisting in building statements of work and bill of materials. The AV Designer is an amazing entry level opportunity to get into the industry with room to grow. If you\xe2\x80\x99re passionate about technology with an appetite for learning and a knack for getting your hands on as much cool technology as you can, this is the role for you. Responsibilities

• Responsible for AutoCAD drawings, including elevations, circuit diagrams, riser, and rack elevations.
• Creating AV bill of materials, writing project scopes, and assisting with project proposals.
• Developing and implementing site surveys and site reports.
• Supporting and working under the mentorship and direction of a Senior AV Design Engineer.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1-2 years of AutoCAD experience or have AutoCAD Certificate of completion from an accredited educational institute.
• Excellent problem solving, troubleshooting and documentation skills.
• Strong customer facing skills and comfortable presenting to customers.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word and Outlook.

Nice to have but not required

• Basic understanding of network, and network related items.
• Basic understanding of Audio video equipment, connectors, and signal flow.
