Role Overview




Join

EA's Create Audio team

as a temporary, full-time Audio Artist and immerse yourself in creating world-class soundscapes for ambitious projects. You'll be at the forefront of audio design and implementation, creating immersive experiences that captivate players. Responsibilities



Create Quality Audio:

Sound design for a variety of features across the

skate.

Implement Audio:

Implement features in game.

Collaborate with Teams:

Work with Design, Animation, VFX, and Audio Leadership to ensure audio aligns with the game vision

Follow Schedules:

Complete audio tasks by the planned deadlines

Troubleshoot Audio Bugs:

Identify and resolve audio-related issues within the game

Ownership:

Ability to drive the design and implementation approach for owned features or content

Requirements



4+ years

of game audio and/or post-production experience Working knowledge in using game audio authoring tools and pipelines (Wwise, FMOD) Proficient knowledge of at least one major DAW (ProTools, Reaper, Nuendo) Experience with game engines (Unity, Unreal) Understanding of visual programming (Unreal, Pure Data, Max MSP, Reaktor) and scripting (Python, Lua) Understanding of version control tools (e.g., Perforce) Artistic, creative, and technical sensibilities

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS



The ranges listed below are what EA in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in these locations at the time of this posting. If you reside in a different location, a recruiter will advise on the applicable range and benefits. Pay offered will be determined based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors (e.g. education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, or business needs).

PAY RANGES




British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria) $75,900 - $105,600 CAD
In British Columbia, we offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, and extended health/dental/vision coverage and basic life insurance.
