Key responsibilities:

• Work with the intake team to gather initial information from prospective clients
• Provide information to clients via phone, video and in-person meetings
• Legal research and drafting of a wide range of legal documents
• Analyze and summarize legal documents
• Supporting other lawyers and staff within the department

Requirements

• Must possess analytical, legal research and writing skills
• Comprehensive knowledge of employment law
• Command of employee employment law
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic firm and a routine role while prioritizing client matters and adapt to each situation accordingly
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills (verbal, written, and listening)
• Licensed Ontario lawyer with 1+ years of experience
• Attentive, ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
• Stellar academic credentials and references
