Summary

As an Association Project Manager, you will drive projects for our non-profit clients. Project-types include both simple and complex events, conferences, and other initiatives. If this is something that interests you, we would love to hear from you!



Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide internal support to the association executive and team for client event and program planning and execution.
• Provide administrative support to client members, sponsors, board and committees.
• Oversee and support the development of client marketing collateral; website and social media content.
• Manage, coordinate and support event production between Malachite meetings/events staff and client team.
• Manage and staff association in-person events; provide post-event review including financial reporting.

Knowledge and Qualifications

Post-secondary degree or diploma, preferably in hospitality, business, or another area relevant to the areas of focus for Malachite\xc3\xa2\xc2\x80\xc2\x99s clients, or equivalent work experience

1 to 2 years of relevant experience in a coordination or planning role; strong aptitude for marketing using email and social media.

Event planning support experience an asset; highly organized and detail oriented.

Strong, professional interpersonal and client service skills; excellent communication skills.

Thrive in multi-tasking, multi-party and deadline-driven environment; proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suites.
