Position Description: To evaluate processes and systems to achieve optimum results in efficiency, quality, and productivity. Provide support and act as liaison for manufacturing on projects and communicate progress to operations management. Functions, Duties, Tasks:

• Assist in conducting preliminary studies of engineering projects and development of new equipment specifications.
• Review plans, maps, specifications and other related work for accuracy and conformance with established engineering practices.
• Foster and establish collaborative environment between all departments and other technical experts covering the electrical, HVAC, controls and building support systems.
• Ensure alignment of activities carried out by 3rd party while providing technical support to maintenance and operations.
• Ensure compliance with all systems and equipment with local laws, safety, and quality requirements as well as external agencies.
• Engage and participate in special engineering projects for the site as required.
• Other duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications (education, experience and/or training, required certifications):

• Enrolled in a Bachelor of Engineering Degree, preferably industrial, mechanical, electrical or process engineering.
• Intermediate computer skills using MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point) able to learn new computerized system such as SAP, Veeva.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, both communications and written in English.
• Must have high attention to detail and the ability to set priorities and manage multiple tasks.
• Must have the ability to plan and structure work to meet deadlines and be able to work with others effectively.
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills is essential.
• Must be able to lift, move and maneuver small-medium sized equipment \xe2\x80\x93 up to 25lbs.

Other:

• Must have the flexibility/ability to work evenings and weekends if the business requires it.
• Must have the flexibility/ability to work overtime if the business requires it.
