We are looking for a results driven, customer centric leader who can develop the best possible merchandise and product strategy to maximize sales, productivity and market share in order to continue establishing Mark\xe2\x80\x99s as the absolute leader in men\xe2\x80\x99s casual apparel. This will include development of financial budgets, conceptualization and execution of product strategy, recruitment and retention of talent as well as accountability for Open-to-Buy management and inventory goals.

Lead the development and implementation of business strategy congruent with the division and enterprise goals

Develop strategy for Owned and National Brand assortments aligned with corporate goals

Develop merchandising programs with your team that will position Mark\xe2\x80\x99s in the market as leaders in casual apparel categories

Responsible for partnering with design in line with Brand aspiration; working with Brand Management to ensure effective execution of brand strategy

Deliver budgeted Gross Margin dollars

Control all relative department expenses to or below budgeted dollar and percentages

Ensure the pricing, promotional and marketing strategies support the financial objectives of the division and enterprise

Ensure the effectiveness of ad items in advertising vehicles relate to established bench marked performance indicators

Working with Senior Marketing, Branding, Sourcing, Operations, Logistics, and Finance Personnel. Contribute to fostering a team environment with a common objective

Determine with marketing group strategic growth initiatives for each year of business with a view to longer term future growth

Ensure the timely evaluation of all direct reports and development initiatives are planned and measured with the individuals

Lead a team of buyers, to understand opportunities in new markets and provide analysis/recommendations for pursuing them

Provide leadership and overall direction by leading and fostering a high performance team environment and determining appropriate resourcing to achieve strategy

What you\xe2\x80\x99ve done

10+ years\xe2\x80\x99 purchasing management experience

Leadership development, time management, and negotiation skills development

Ability to work in a fast paced environment

Self-motivated and commanding leadership skills

Strong analytical skills with an ability to multi-task

Solid financial analysis capabilities

Superb collaboration, joint problem solving and influencing skills

Strong track record of driving results and performance transformation

Proven ability to develop, manage and motivate a top calibre team around a compelling vision
