Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Veterinarian to join our team. In this role, you will provide high-quality medical care to a variety of animals, ensuring their health and well-being. You will work closely with pet owners to educate them about animal care and treatment options while maintaining a supportive and professional environment. We are a privately owned small animal clinic. No over night or on call required.

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough examinations of animals to assess their health status Diagnose and treat various medical conditions and injuries Perform surgeries and routine dental procedures as needed, ensuring the highest standards of care Administer vaccinations and preventative treatments Maintain accurate medical records for each patient Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding treatment plans and follow-up care Collaborate with veterinary technicians and support staff to ensure efficient clinic operations Stay updated on advancements in veterinary medicine and participate in continuing education

Skills

Strong diagnostic skills and the ability to make sound clinical decisions Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and team members Compassionate approach towards animals and their owners Laboratory experience is highly desirable for performing diagnostic tests Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple cases effectively Strong organizational skills to maintain accurate records and documentation

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50.00-$60.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 30 per week
