Associate Therapist - Private Practice (Contract)

Healing Quest Counselling is inviting applications from registered clinicians / counsellors interested in joining an established trauma-oriented counselling practice in Maple Ridge, BC.

This role is well-suited to a clinician / counsellor who is looking to build a stable, sustainable caseload within a well-established private practice. The practice is located within a

shared professional therapy space

that includes multiple counsellors / clinicians and practices. While therapists work independently, the environment is collegial rather than isolating.

An interest in trauma-informed work is ideal, though not required.

What this role requires:

Master's-level graduate degree in Counselling or Clinical Social Work Registration with the applicable regulatory or licensing body (RSW, RCSW, RCC, or CCC) and professional liability insurance Competent, ethical clinical work with vulnerable populations Timely follow-up on referrals and inquiries Ability to establish and maintain ongoing therapeutic work Meeting basic administrative and documentation standards
This is a

revenue-sharing, contract role

. While referrals are provided, maintaining a viable caseload requires active engagement, responsiveness, and professional follow-through.

About the role

Associates practice independently within their scope and training while meeting the expectations outlined in the associate contract.

This role may be a good fit for clinicians with experience or interest in working with complex trauma, and who value clarity, autonomy, and accountability in their practice setting.
