Overview
CMDA is a national organization of Christian doctors and dentists dedicated to integrating Christian faith and professional practice. We are currently soliciting applications for a part-time Associate Staff to provide a range of spiritual support programs for medical students at the University of Calgary.
Responsibilities
Strong ability to present biblically based educational content and lead discussions and prayer at regular meetings Sound group organizational skills including planning guest speakers for topics of medical and theological interest Ability to lead discussions on application of biblical principles to medical practice. Capacity to facilitate groups composed of medical students, residents and graduate physicians and dentists. Capacity to provide one on one spiritual encouragement and support
Experience
The successful candidate will be required to adhere to the Statement of Faith of CMDA Canada and sign an employment contract. Associate staff persons are required to liaise with the national office, students, residents and graduates. Most CMDA Associate Staff are already employed in ministry positions with church or para-church organizations. The normal CMDA time commitment is 1?2 day per week.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $6,000.00 per year
Expected hours: No more than 4 per week
