This is a hybrid position primarily based in the Toronto or Montreal office. We\'re committed to your flexibility and wellbeing and our hybrid strategy currently requires two days a week in the office, giving you the option to work remotely for some of your working week. .

A role you will love

The Corporate Actions Associate Relationship Manager will be responsible for providing day-to-day administrative support and assistance to all Project Managers across Canada by preparing and organizing the required system updates, transaction memos, letters, affidavits, mailing distributions, billing data, and other relevant information/documents for the implementation of Corporate Action.

In this key role for our business, you will primarily be responsible for the following:

  • Coordinates with National Billing Unit to set-up new billing codes for clients upon receipt of instructions from the Project Managers.
  • Thoroughly scrutinizes the Information Circular and other documents received from Project Managers and completes the communications memos and updates internal systems such as COSMOS Company.
  • Sets up RADAR Work orders for Corporate Actions mailings within tight deadlines distribution and ensures mailings are complete and copies are sent out to Call Centre, branches, forwarding agents, as well as the Relationship Manager.
  • Updates information system such as the Corporate Actions tracking database and COSMOS Company immediately after significant dates to provide the rest of the business with information, as well as maintains statistical data for Corporate Action events.
  • Executes modifications on forms and communication memos as needed.
  • Responds to general enquiries from clients and counsel relating to the administration of their Corporate Action.
What will you bring to the role?

To excel in this role, it is expected that you possess the following experience:

Required:
  • High school graduation. Post secondary business courses (preferred)
  • 1 - 2 years\' experience in stock transfer or securities environment at a minimum
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, (particularly Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and PC applications (Access, word processing, spreadsheet, and e-mail) required
  • Highly developed interpersonal and relationship management skills
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Exposure to developing and mastering problem solving and negotiating skills
  • A team player
