Tranquillium Holistic Therapy & Wellness is a growing psychotherapy practice located in Guelph, Ontario. We offer both in-person support to our local community and virtual services across Ontario. Position Overview -
We are currently seeking a
part-time psychotherapist
to join our team as a
subcontractor
. In this role, you will provide psychotherapy services both in-person and virtually to a diverse clientele.
Key Responsibilities -
Provide trauma-informed therapy sessions to individuals and couples using evidence-based approaches.
Respond to client inquiries professionally and in a timely manner (e.g., for initial appointments and consultations).
Complete necessary documentation, including chart notes and third-party requests (e.g., insurance providers).
Communicate with the practice owner about upcoming time off, current caseload, and professional development opportunities.
Deliver high-quality therapy services virtually and in-person, ensuring client satisfaction and adherence to ethical standards.

Qualifications -
Registered and in good standing with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) or the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Services Workers (OCSWSSW).
Master's degree in a relevant field. Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) members are welcome to apply.
Active and adequate liability insurance in Ontario.
Ability to provide at least 10 hours of client availability per week.
Strong professionalism, self-motivation, and time-management skills.
Effective communication skills, with a prompt response to emails and other communications.
Ability to provide counselling to clients of all ages with various mental health challenges.
Equipped for virtual therapy with a private space, high-speed internet, and a computer with audio/visual capabilities.
Preference will be given to therapists with EMDRIA approved training in EMDR*
Good to Have/Assets -
Additional training in modalities such as ART, ACT, EMDR, Gottman, etc.
Experience or willingness to work with couples.
Availability during evenings and/or weekends.
Familiarity with Jane or similar clinic/practice management software.
