Role Overview



Microbix is seeking an

Associate

Product Manager

to join our team. Reporting to Product Management, this role collaborates with Research & Development, Marketing, Sales, Quality Assurance, Quality Control, and Manufacturing teams. The Associate Product Manager will play a key role in coordinating product development activities and supporting the successful commercialization of new products.

Coordinate new product development project timelines, draft and maintain associated ISO 13485:2016 Design Control documentation (e.g., commercial requirements, design input, development plans, design validation protocols/reports, real-time stability studies, final design and development reports, and design transfer).

Collaborate with R&D, QA, QC, and Manufacturing to drive execution of product development activities.

Conduct market research and track competitor activity to inform new product initiatives and support strategic planning.

Contribute to product commercialization plans and collaborate with Marketing on launch activities and promotional campaigns.

Partner with Sales to identify and apply for relevant Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and tenders, including preparation of technical documentation.

Provide technical support to Sales and help manage key accounts; some travel may be required.

Develop internal training resources and product presentation for Sales, Marketing, and customer education.

Master's degree in a life science discipline.

1-2 years of industry experience, ideally in Product Management, R&D, or a related role.

Experience with Design Control and ISO 13485:2016 Medical Devices - Quality Management System is an asset.

Proficient in various computer software programs (Word, Excel, Adobe, etc.)

Salary & Benefits



Salary range of $75,000 to $85,000 per annum.
