Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Orthodontist to join our well-established, high-volume dental practices. This role offers the opportunity to work in modern clinics and provide comprehensive orthodontic care to a diverse and growing patient base across our two Toronto locations: Summerhill and Don Mills.

Duties

including but not limited to:

Conduct comprehensive patient examinations to assess orthodontic needs. Diagnose malocclusions and develop individualized treatment plans for corrective care. Apply and adjust orthodontic appliances, including braces, aligners, retainers and other corrective devices. Utilize imaging, including X-rays and 3D imaging (CBCT) when appropriate, to evaluate bone structure and tooth alignment. Monitor patient progress throughout treatment, making adjustments as needed to achieve optimal outcomes. Educate patients on oral hygiene, appliance care and overall dental health during orthodontic treatment. Collaborate with dental hygienists, general dentists and other specialists to ensure comprehensive, coordinated care. Maintain accurate, detailed nand timely clinical records in compliance with regulatory and professional standards. Stay current with advancements in orthodontic techniques, materials and best practices.

Qualifications

Fully licensed Orthodontist in good standing, with recognized certification to practice in Ontario. Proven expertise in orthodontic diagnosis, treatment planning and appliance management. Strong knowledge of craniofacial anatomy, growth and development. Excellent organizational skills, capable of managing multiple cases efficiently. Outstanding communication and patient education skills, able to build trust and reassurance with patients of all ages. Commitment to maintaining the highest standards of clinical practice, patient safety and ethical care.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $1.00 per year

Expected hours: 16 - 40 per week
