Key responsibilities for this role include:

With moderate supervision from the Head of Marketing Canada, performs the day-to-day tasks associated with facilitating the Canadian VMAP approval process for assigned product(s) as outlined in the Canadian VMAP SOP. This includes applying an understanding of the current regulations and Viatris policies governing the promotional material review process.

Responsible for processing all promotional pieces for assigned product(s) in Veeva Vault (cloud-based technology platform used for VMAP).

Responsible for scheduling, creating and distributing agendas, and chairing VMAP meetings for assigned product(s). Is responsible for capturing all comments and annotations during live meetings and offline reviews in Veeva Vault.

Provides operational support to marketing representatives on the production of promotional materials in various areas.

Responsible for ensuring the Lifecycle Management of all pieces via the annual review process, and ensuring the expiration and destruction of promotional items per Viatris destruction policy.

Applies understanding of the promotional material development and review process to work collaboratively with representatives from internal departments and external vendors.

Train new and current users on Veeva Vault system and those participating in the VMAP review process.

Exercises judgment, analysis, and problem-solving capabilities throughout the application of the VMAP process, print production, and lifecycle of the promotional pieces as assigned.

Collaborate and communicate with Center of Excellence (COE) team to ensure timely delivery of creatives assigned by project owners.

Responsible for final proof review of all VMAP approved pieces prior to final production of marketing materials.

Maintain local best practices SOP, proof reading style guide and copyright attribution copy used in development of all marketing materials.

The minimum qualifications for this role are:

Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) and minimum of 4 years of experience. One to three years of pharmaceutical experience and/or project and account management in an advertising agency is preferred.

Must possess knowledge of the promotional review, approval and material production/digital processes.

Must possess a working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite and have worked in an electronic approval system.

Must be proactive, meet all deadlines and be able to multi-task.

Ability to read and interpret promotional materials and understand the technical aspects of print production and digital media. Ability to write comprehensive reports and detailed business correspondence.

Ability to train large groups on the process if required. Bilingualism would be an additional asset.

Must be willing and capable of adapting to change, operating in a complex, fast-paced environment and handling additional projects/responsibilities as needed to meet business objectives.

Ability to solve problems with a variety of concrete variables through semi-standardized solutions that require some ingenuity and analysis Ability to draw inferences and follow prescribed and detailed procedures to solve moderately complex problems
