Department Overview

Private Wealth Management (PWM) is focused on the delivery of legendary client experiences to High-Net Worth clients through an integrated team of professionals across Private Investment Advice, Private Investment Counsel, Private Banking, Private Trust, Wealth Insurance and Wealth Advisory Services.

As a member of the PWM National Sales Office team, the Associate Manager, Insights & Reporting will manage the Scorecard for Private Banking Employees and manage the Scorecard and Compensation programs for Wealth Advisors.

Job Requirements

The successful candidate must have:

  • Undergraduate degree
  • Graduate degree is an asset
  • 3+ business analysis experience
  • Strong analytical skills and comfort working with large amounts of data, information, and databased
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office with the ability to translate data into a meaningful and visual story
  • Superior analytics and data presentation skills
  • Self-starter, takes ownership and is results-oriented
  • Creative problem solver who is solutions focused
  • Ability to develop and manage relationships with multiple stakeholders - both internal and field facing
  • Flexible team player who is able to quickly adapt to change
  • Minimum 3 years\' experience with requirements analysis
  • Some financial services industry experience

Scorecard Management:
1. Manage the scorecard adjustments and escalation adjudications for Wealth Advisors and Private Bankers.
2. Act as a liaison for reporting team to review monthly results, commentary and goal adjustments.
3. Act as Subject Matter Expert for reporting framework (Field, Leaders and Partners).
4. Lead the exception handling - compile and summarize exceptions requests for monthly Exception Committee meetings to support the committee lead.
5. Develop training and job aids on Intended Referral Scenarios - ensure the alignment to the current framework and sales process, support the delivery of contents on WA/MM/PB calls.

Compensation Management:
1. Lead and manage the quarterly compensations to WA including QC, insights developments and acting as Finance liaison.
2. Liaise with Private Trust National Office to ensure correct FYF fee payout and submission to Finance.
3. Negotiation and communication of YE timelines (comp and adjustments) and act as Finance liaison.
4. Manage various programs and manage compensation claw-backs semi-annually.

Strategic Initiatives & Business Planning:
1. Lead and manage Target setting for Wealth Advisors and Private Bankers - including reasonability testing, targets vs Plan, market opportunity review.
2. Continuously lead process improvements and establish new process for scorecard adjustments.
3. Ensure the successful implementation of Compensation and Scorecard redesign
4. Support Compensation and Scorecard redesign in reflection of the transition to upgraded models to promote desired behaviors.
5. Crosstrain coworker on all tasks related to scorecard and compensation to ensure business continuity.
