About your next Challenge as an Associate Manager, Operations Management CC150 at L3Harris MAS:
You will work closely with Operations Manager to direct, manage, organize, prioritize and lead a group of unionized employees dedicated to operations. You will coordinate efforts of specialists from within the Operations team and will be a key member responsible for the overall delivery of the CC150 in Service Support contract \xc3\xa2\xc2\x80\xc2\x93 which may include oversight and support of other project deliverables. You will promote the values of L3 within your work teams to promote a professional culture and ensure care of maintenance. You will ensure that teams work in accordance with Transport Canada as well as DTAES, (Directorate of Technical Airworthiness and Engineering Support), aviation procedures, policies and regulations. Due to consistent deployment, you will be managing fatigue risk of your personnel on a daily basis and working closely with an active and highly professional QA program.
What You Will Do:
\xc3\x82\xc2\xb7Represent operations at various meetings, establishing and maintaining professional relations with the program team and with various clients and stakeholders to identify challenges, limitations, constraints and risks while providing operational solutions to complex problems. Manage emergencies and work on contingencies to minimize operational impacts;
\xc3\x82\xc2\xb7In close consultation with Operations Manager, work to continuously Improve Operational Structure and Efficiencies, and through training and oversight ensure adherence to policy and procedures. Close collaboration with Licensed Planner, QA, Engineering, PRAA (Person Responsible for Assigning Authority), Programs Manager, and Operations Manager to ensure Airworthiness, Training, Currency, Projects, and Customer Satisfaction Key Performance Indicators are met or exceeded.
Health Security:
\xc3\x82\xc2\xb7Carry out monthly inspections and follow-up on corrective actions;
\xc3\x82\xc2\xb7Prepare and participate in OHS committee meetings and follow up actions;
\xc3\x82\xc2\xb7Complete accident / incident reports; and
\xc3\x82\xc2\xb7Assist L3Harris auditors during their visits and follow-up on actions.
Quality:
\xc3\x82\xc2\xb7Respond and document corrective action requests (CARs);
\xc3\x82\xc2\xb7Create and update departmental procedures and ensure employees follow them;

\xc3\x82\xc2\xb7Represent operations during daily meetings, teleconferences, etc;
\xc3\x82\xc2\xb7Manage overtime required on a daily basis;
\xc3\x82\xc2\xb7Approve travel requests and expense accounts;
\xc3\x82\xc2\xb7Apply collective bargaining agreement; and
\xc3\x82\xc2\xb7Coordinate computer problems with IT department directly in Mirabel, Quebec.
Required Skills and Experiences:
\xc3\x82\xc2\xb7College or undergraduate degree in a relevant field of competence, such as engineering, AME, mechanics or aeronautics;
\xc3\x82\xc2\xb7Minimum of 5 years experience in operations management;
\xc3\x82\xc2\xb7Experience in team supervision (unionized employees an asset);
\xc3\x82\xc2\xb7Ability to make decisions quickly and take action;
\xc3\x82\xc2\xb7Customer-oriented and results oriented while adopting a "win-win" approach;
\xc3\x82\xc2\xb7Ability to inspire employees and collaborators in a positive manner;
\xc3\x82\xc2\xb7Good oral and written communication skills in both languages (French and English), an asset;
\xc3\x82\xc2\xb7Sense of work organization and priority management;
