The Associate Manager, Fixture Procurement serves as the Manager's right hand, providing operational oversight, cross-functional coordination, and enterprise-level reporting across all banners. This role does not own specific procurement processes (e.g., Line Review or Rollouts) but ensures they are executed effectively by Leads, Specialists, Analysts, and Coordinators. The Associate Manager consolidates reporting, manages escalations, and collaborates with the Manager on strategic vendor management, contract compliance, and enterprise procurement objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership & Escalations
Provide daily oversight of procurement operations across banners, ensuring consistency and compliance with procurement processes.
Act as the first escalation point for vendor, store, or cross-functional issues, resolving conflicts and enabling Leads to focus on execution.
Partner with the Manager on strategic procurement initiatives, enterprise savings targets, and process improvements.
Cross-Banner & Stakeholder Coordination
Coordinate activities across Leads, Specialists, and Analysts to ensure procurement timelines and objectives are met.
Facilitate cross-functional meetings with Merchandising, Store Design, Construction, Logistics, and Finance to resolve issues and align deliverables.
Support enterprise programs by ensuring procurement alignment across banners.
Reporting & Analysis
Consolidate reporting from Leads and Analysts into executive-level summaries for the Manager and Senior Leadership.
Monitor procurement performance at the enterprise level, highlighting risks, variances, and savings opportunities.
Provide insights to support budgeting, forecasting, and capital/operational planning.
Strategic Vendor Support
Collaborate with the Manager on strategic vendor management (contracts, escalations, enterprise alignment).
Participate in vendor meetings to represent procurement at the enterprise level, focusing on alignment and accountability.
What you bring:
Atleast 5 years of procurement/supply chain experience with increasing responsibility.
Strong knowledge of procurement processes, contracts, and vendor management.
Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional coordination skills.
Strong understanding of the procurement process and FF&E lifecycle.
Proven experience in procurement or supply chain management within Retail/design industry.
Experience consolidating reporting and presenting to senior leadership.
Strong problem-solving and escalation management abilities.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-project retail environment.
