Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Associate Lawyer with 5-10 years of post-call experience and a solid background in Employment and Labour Law, Civil Litigation, and administrative tribunal procedures. The successful candidate will manage client matters from intake through resolution, represent clients at hearings and mediations, and provide comprehensive legal support to ensure effective advocacy and procedural compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Advise and represent clients on a wide range of employment and labour law matters, including wrongful dismissal, employment standards, workplace policies, human rights, collective bargaining, and grievance arbitration. Draft and review pleadings, contracts, agreements, and related legal documents. Represent clients before courts, tribunals, and administrative bodies. Manage files efficiently while meeting deadlines in a high-volume environment. Maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and practical advice. Contribute to the firm's growth through professional excellence and business development initiatives. Qualifications Member in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario (or another Canadian jurisdiction with eligibility for transfer). Strong advocacy, negotiation, and legal drafting skills. Proven ability to handle complex matters independently and collaboratively. Exceptional organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities. Demonstrated commitment to client service and professional integrity.
