Job Description


Job Title: Tax Associate
Our client, a leading law firm is looking for a dedicated, energetic, team-focused lawyer who is interested in joining their global team of tax lawyers. This individual should have the following qualifications:
Requirements:

  • 3-6 years of experience in Corporate Tax Law.
  • Licensed to practice in BC and in good standing with the Law Society of BC.
  • Willing to work in office.
  • Thrive with a high billable target.
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) or LLM in Tax Law.
Experienced in the following areas is preferred:
  • Private Equity and funding/Investments.
  • Capital Market Transactions and Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A).
  • Commodity Tax and Employee Tax.
  • Real Estate.
  • Tax Audits and disputes with tax authorities.
  • Experience working with top tier companies in Canada and/or internationally within BC.
  • Top tier firm experience.
