Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable 1 to 2 year Lawyer called to the Bar in BC to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of the law and demonstrate exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills. This role requires a commitment to providing high-quality legal services while maintaining the highest ethical standards. The Lawyer will represent clients in various legal matters in the areas of family law and civil litigation, ensuring their rights are protected and advocating on their behalf.

Duties

Provide expert legal advice and guidance to clients on various legal issues Represent clients in court proceedings, negotiations, and other legal transactions Conduct thorough research to support case preparation and strategy development Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and pleadings Collaborate with other legal professionals to develop case strategies and ensure comprehensive representation Maintain accurate records of all case-related activities and communications Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations relevant to the practice area

Skills

Proficient in using MS Office, ESI-Law, Clio, and CanLII for legal research and case management Strong negotiation skills with the ability to advocate effectively for clients' interests Excellent research abilities to gather relevant information and precedents Exceptional writing skills for drafting clear, concise, and persuasive legal documents

Pay: $60,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
